WARNING: Streaker in Monticello, Utah

My sister Jenny told me this story a couple of weeks ago and I thought it was so funny so I have to post it. Jenny went to Monticello to Nathan's game and brought Amber and Rachel with her. Well if any of you know Rachel, she loves to wander. So Jenny told Amber to go to the park and check on Rachel because she had not seen her for awhile. Amber comes running back screaming mom shes naked. Jenny goes over there and there is Rachel sitting on top of the slide trying to go down buck naked!!! Well what happens when you try to go down a slide with a bare butt? You get stuck!!! All the kids at the play ground are running the other way screaming. Well Rachel also likes to run away from you when you tell her to come here so I can just see the adventure they had trying to catch her to get her dressed!!!! Needless to say this is not the first time and I am sure it wont be the last because Rachel loves to take her clothes off. Good Luck Jen!!!

Fishing at the Reservoir

On Saturday we went up to the Spanish Fork Reservoir and went fishing. It was alot of fun. Chyanne loved helping her dad reel in all of the fish. Jeremy would ask her should we keep it or let it go? She would always say let it go dad. Now the reservoir has a steep cement hill you walk down to get to the water Rylee made me really nervous because at first she would sit on her butt and slide down and then crawl back up until about the last half hour. She figured she had it down now and could walk up and down instead of crawling. She didn't fall in but I think without mom and dads few good saves she would have tumbled right in. We are going again tonight for family night with Rod's family so we will see if we have good luck again or not!!!

Best Buds

My sister Jenny and her family came up last weekend for Tyler's 16th birthday! We had alot of fun while they were here. We went shopping and went to dinner, then they took their kids to the Salt Lake Bees game. Well their kids had no idea why they were coming up north because Jenny and Jens wanted to surprise them. At dinner the kids finally figured out where they were going and so we told Tyler that he should have brought his mit with him in case someone hits a homerun. Well I think someone knew it was his birthday because he caught a foul ball!!! Before they headed for home on Saturday we had a BBQ. Rylee and Rachel were so cute. The whole time they were here they were the best of buds which in kind of an odd pair considering there is three years between them. They had a blast picking on each other and jumping on the trampoline. Thanks Nielson family for the entertaining weekend!!!

Ice cream, Books & Great Grandma Terry

I don't know what it is about my kids, there grandma's and books but they seem to think that everytime one of there grandmas or someone who looks like a grandma comes over they immediatley attack!! They go and get all the books out and make them read read read. My Grandma came up a couple of weeks ago to stay with us because my aunt was having surgery and man I don't think she knew what she was in for. My girls mauled her to death. I think she read about 50 books or more which really surprised me because my Grandma is not the most patient person. The last night we had ice cream and grandma said she didn't want any so we all got ours and grandma ended up sharing Chyanne's ice cream cone with her. It was nice to have her come stay and get to know our kids a little bit better. We love you Grandma!!!

Preschool Graduation

Chyanne graduated from preschool on May 29th. I can not believe how big she is now. She learned so much and has really come out of her shell. Her teachers are amazing and she always talked about them. In their program they sang a bunch of songs that they learned throughout the year. I was really impressed that Chyanne stood up there and sang because she is usually pretty shy in those situations. Chyanne we love you very much and are so proud of you. We look forward to one more year of preschool before we have to send her to the big school house!!

like we are kids again. Who would have ever thought that I could still pull off a flip or have bum wars or better yet jump without peeing my pants because I have had three kids you know. Anyways it is way fun and I am so glad we bought it.

Breaking the silence

So today in relief society the lesson got over and it was time for testimony meeting. Well a couple of woman got up and bore theirs and then we all were sitting there in dead silence. Well Stetler decides it is time to fill his pants!!! Yes, it was so loud and he just kept going and you could here a couple of woman trying to hold there laughs. It was not much longer before everyone in the room was busting a gut and one of the woman in the presidency looks at me laughing and says HOPE YOU FEEL BETTER!!! I was dying of course everyone knew it was Stetler but still. So I took him in the bathroom to change him and had to give him a mini bath in the sink because it was everywhere. I guess there is one good thing that came out of it, he got me out of leading the closing song because they decided to torture me and make me the new relief society chorister. I look like a complete idiot up there because I have no clue what I am doing so I just wave my arm. After church one of the woman in the ward offered to come over to my house and teach me how to lead YIKES!!!

Stetler's Blessing

Stetler was given a name and a blessing on May 4th 2008 by his daddy. Jeremy gave such a beautiful blessing.

We are so blessed to have the priesthood in our home. Stetler I hope some day you grow up to be a strong example of the gospel to your friends and family. After the blessing we had a big lunch at our house for friends and family. It was yummy. I would like to thank everyone who came and brought something and helped get everything ready. We are so very blessed to have such supporting friends and family. We love you all.

Happy Birthday Chyanne

Our princess Chyanne turned 4 on April 20th. I can not believe that i have a four year old.

She celebrated her birthday with friends and family. She had a Barbie cake, Dora cups & Hannah Montana table cloth. Yes I know it doesn't really go toghether but she picked it out. So that makes it perfect!

Some of her gifts were, clothes, flip flops, littlest pet shop stuff, hannah montana barbies, bat & tee, poster, makeup, towel, beach bag, pillowcase, dora backpack & a trampoline from mom & dad. There was more but that is all that I can think of.

We love Chyanne. You are our little princess!

J=JOKER no kidding is he ever. If you know jeremy then you know what I am talking about. He is always joking about everything and most people don't know how to take it if they just met him. He always keeps things interesting!

E=ENERGETIC he is always going. If he could add more hours to a day he would. He is a very hard worker and I love that about him. He goes to work every day and works his buns off so I can stay home and raise our children.

R=RIGHTEOUS I never would have thought when we were dating that we would be here. Jeremy is a very strong key to the lords gospel. He is a very good example to me and my children and I know his scouts look up to him alot. It's nice to know that I have a priesthood holder in my home that is ready and willing to use it at any given moment.

E=ETERNAL he is my eternal companion and I know that he loves me and our kids so much. That is the most comforting thing in the world to me. So yes this means that he is stuck with me no matter what!

M=MARVELOUS Dad he is such a good dad and my children adore him. It is kind of amazing to me because he is an only child so he has had to learn alot. When my girls here him get home from work they run to the door in excitement. I know he loves every minute of it.

Y=YACKER Jeremy can talk to just about anyone about anything. Sometimes I wonder why they call women chicken heads because my husband is one. He would make a great missionary. The only time I have seen him be shy was when we met. He sat in his truck like a shy puppy!

Doris Emma Christensen Bryan

My sweet grandma passed away on May 6, 2008. She was diagnosed with ALS a short time ago and it took her very fast. We were all with her the night before she passed and I am so grateful for that. My mom and uncle Ric have been taking care of her while she was sick because they did not want put her in a home. This is a lady who I swear was not sick a day in her life so it is a blessing she didn't have to live long like this. Grandma came to everthing from birthday parties for my kids to watching me play sports in high school. The last time my little Rylee was over at her house she just kept grabbing her face and kissing her then she would get down and get into something naughty. Grandma was getting the biggest kick out of it she kept coughing because she was trying to laugh so hard but it just wouldn't come out. We will truely miss her around here but I am so grateful for this wonderful gospel that we have in our lives. I know we will be with her again and this is just the beginning. She is with her eternal companion now and so happy! My grandpa passed away in 1981 so she has been lonely for many years. We love you Grandma and know you are our angel in heaven!

YUMMY CHICKEN!

So my lovely cousin Devron posted this recipe on her blog and I cooked it tonight and it was a huge hit. So here it is ENJOY!!!!
Sticky Coconut Chicken(Tar Chicken)
6-8 boneless chicken thighs
¾ cup canned coconut milk
1 Tbsp. minced ginger
1 tsp. fresh ground pepper
1 tsp. hot chili flakes
Marinate chicken in coconut milk, ginger, pepper and chili flakes at least one hour. Grill on barbeque.
Chili glaze
¾ cup rice vinegar
½ cup sugar
3 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp hot chili flakes
Bring above ingredients to a boil over high heat and cook until mixture is reduced and thickened. 8-10 minutes depending on size of pan (the deeper the liquid the longer it will take to thicken,I like to use a large frying pan so it thickens quicker. You need to watch it though because it goes from thick to burnt easily!Glaze both sides of chicken and serve.

Stetler Ronald Lloyd

Finally a Boy!! Stetler was born March 11, 2008. He has grown so much and to fast. He loves to eat, sleep, poop, cuddling & to be talked to. A funny story I have about him is his second real bath was with his big sister Rylee. Well I lifted his leg to wash his back and he peed in her face and she started to cry and it just missed her mouth. I have to say he may be little but he already knows how to get even!!!
